Women’s Waterski week in August: Empowering women and girls into sport!

Our goal with this event is to promote the sport and encourage more women and girls to participate. Unfortunately, in the UK, over 700,000 women are less active than men, and almost 60% of girls are not meeting recommended exercise guidelines. This is despite the numerous benefits that come with being active, such as better overall health, reduced stress, and improved mood.

Waterskiing is a thrilling and fun activity that provides a full-body workout. It allows you to be active while also enjoying the water and the great outdoors. Speeding across the water can be an adrenaline rush, and it is a great way to socialise with other like-minded women. That’s why we have set up a special week in August dedicated to women’s waterskiing. During this week, we’ll conduct coaching sessions especially for women and girls.


The sessions will be run by experienced coaches who have a passion for getting more women involved in waterskiing. We’ll also provide you with all the necessary equipment, including skis, ropes, and wetsuits. You don’t need any experience to participate in our coaching sessions, as our expert coaches will guide you through every step of the way. Women’s waterskiing has grown in popularity globally, with an increasing number of women participating in the sport. This is because waterskiing is not just a physical activity but also a mental one. You need to be focused and mentally prepared to get the most out of the sport.


Waterskiing requires you to be in the moment and to concentrate on the task at hand. As an added bonus, waterskiing also helps build confidence, self-esteem, and teamwork. The team factor is significant as the skier needs a good driver to ensure an enjoyable and safe experience. Our Women’s waterski week in August is intended to be a fun and memorable experience for all participants. We want to inspire more women to get involved in waterskiing and to experience the unique thrills this sport has to offer.
